WORLD MEDICAL ASSOCIATION OF SURYOYE (WMAS)
Prof. Dr. Dr. Fuat S. Oduncu and Kano Suryoyo e.V. are jointly organizing and promoting the I. World Conference on Medicine by Suryoye for Suryoye. This conference will set a milestone and path the ground to found an internationally acting medical association of Suryoye termed World Medical Association of Suryoye – WMAS (Ḥuyodo Suryoyo tibeloyo di Osyuṯo), which will be legally located within Kano Suryoyo. The Association‘s goals are being outlined above.
Kano Suryoyo e.V.
Kano Suryoyo e.V. is an honorary association for the promotion of education within the Suryoye people. It is the aim of Kano to raise awareness of the role of education, to increase the level of education of our Suryoye in the long run and to establish a network. Since its foundation, Kano is a non-profit, non-party and independent organization. Its roots go back to the year 1990, when it was founded as a student association in Paderborn, Germany. In the course of time, it has become the biggest federation for academics in Central Europe.
Kano counts currently more than 250 members, three active state associations, several university groups and many motivated members. Projects, like the awards-show (recurring since 2010) and the genocide conference (also known as Sayfo Conference, recurring since 2015) set new standards for the Suryoye. Besides, there are cultural journeys, student information days, workshops, series of lectures, book publications and many more events taking place that shape the image of Kano Suryoyo.
The foundation of Kano is based on a clear and simple philosophy. “Independence, respect and appreciation, openness, cooperativeness, determination and sustainability” – they mark the basis for our actions. Small but deliberately chosen steps contribute to the establishment of an international academic network. Education is the foundation (Aramaic: “Kano”) for the future of every individual and of every society. That is why Kano is dedicated primarily on the promotion of education.
